I am using Cfgedit to make a panel for an upcoming aircraft release, but I need a custom gauge. Is there a FREE way of doing this?

Have you tried searching for your gauge. ??? I know that there is a web site out there that has just about any gauge you need. Try searching for it. I use a program called FSPANEL STUDIO . It is a extension of CFGEDIT and will edit XML gauges But I can not rember if you can make a gauge with it or not. I am at work now so cna not check
???

I'd start with the SDK.  The 2004 version is available from MS and the 02 version is here http://www.scenery.org/tutorials_fs2k2_SDK.htm
