umm... i nearly finished my phantom design. since i have a slow pc, i tried to construct it with as few frames as possible. result was some good and satisfactory but what is it? i compared it with shigeru tanaka's fs2000 phantom and i saw that although my design is less detailed than it, my design needs more frame rate!! why??? af99 better than fsds??

I'm assuming you're using FSDS1.6 for FS2000. I supect the answer is the difference in the number of polygons (Poly Count). AF99 has a parts limit which you have to be careful not to exceed. FSDS is capable of producing far better quality models but it's all too easy to use over-complex parts without realising it. The secret is in keeping that poly count down as much as possible.
