Hi all, I'm a novice in gmax, and after creating my first model I tryed to export it! I clicked export, export as a aricraft mdl, but then it gives me an error saying : "msxml4.dll could not be loaded. config files won't be readed", and after this it says: " makemdl was not found, or failed to convert the specified in c:\xx\xx\xx to a mdl file. check your system path to ensure makemdl is on it"!

so, can anybody help me??

thks it was very frustrating to spend some hours doing a very simple parachute and then you couldn't use it because you couldn't export it!! thks

There should be a file called <projectname>.log in the folder where you are exporting the file to.  OPen it in Notepad or a text editor and see what the errors are.  "makemdl.exe not found" is usually a generic error message that shold really read - "something's screwed up in the model and I couldn't convert it properly - check the log file and find out!"
