I am having a problem with the nvidia nforce 2 ide driver. When It was installed, It did not recognize my CD-burner or DVD-burner. I installed the standard windows IDE driver, and it works. Any idea whats going on?

Maybe you have a VIA chipset.
you could try the latest mainboard driver download for your board from the manufacturers website.
