Hi guys,

Here's todays question: I finally got my AI B-52's to show up. I simply went to Atlanta, and replaced EVERY AI aircraft on the flightplan with one of my planes. However, while the landing gear on the KC-135's shows up just fine, the B-52's float above the ground with NO landing gear. (and that little bit of strangeness even happens when BUFF's and 135's are in a line to take off).

    So, any fixes for this?

Hi Sue. The gear animation bug in AI is caused by the B-52 being an early FS2002 design created with the original FSDS1 design application. This is even more of a problem in FS9 as it affects the flyable aircraft too. I'm almost certain there's no fix for it.

What we really need is a B-52 created with the later FSDS2 or Gmax. I don't know of any plans for it right now.

Hi,

OK, well, that explains that. So, I guess when I put my AN-225 into the AI flightplans, I'll have to use the new GMAX version, or else I'll have a 400ton hovercraft.

Well, now I know. Thanks for the help Hagar.

    *HUGS*

    Take Care.
