Yes, I have had it work on a Win98SE, PIII, 600 Mz. with 512 Mg. RAm system with a Nvidia GEForce 32mg. card. I'm not sure if the Ram made the difference. Also, no point in going higher with the Ram as Win 98 does not recognize anything higher. Smiley

It'll work but it won't be great and you'll need a lot of stuff turned down. I started flying ACOF on Windows 98 but when I switched to Windows XP it made a huge difference because XP utilizes memory a lot better than 98.

Like buttercups said RAM is essential. 512 mb for Windows 98. I'd suggest 1 Gig if you use XP.

Wink

Hi

I am running ( no..trying to run ) FS9 on my trusty Celeron 700, 512 ram and ATI 7200 card.

We got the Champagne out tonight, when for one awespelling moment we got up to 2 frames per sec.

I really think this version needs a good set. What I have seen on mine I would think would be fantastic with the pucker gear. Wink

Seriously, I can have sliders up to about halfway on some settings, but we stutter around. Addon scenery, apart from UK2000 (Gary Summons) is a definate No, No on my setup. Yet with FS2002 this set does brilliantly, I have stacks of addons and sliders up and dynamics.

I HAVE DECIDED TO SAVE MY MONEY FOR UPGRADES TO THIS SYSTEM, STICK WITH FS-2002 UNTIL FS- 2006 COMES OUT AND THEN I'LL BUY A WHOLE NEW COMPUTER SET-UP WITH ALL THE LATEST BELLS AND WHISTLES( P-V PERHAPS).
AS SOMEONE ONCE SAID TO ME "THAT SALE PRICE COULD HAVE BEEN THE MOST EXPENSIVE $29.95 I EVER SPENT!
