I'm not sure about the mitchell myself, Some books say Boeing, some say North American.

I have discovered that the book saying Boeing made it was a printing mistake. It said "their" bus should have said "the".

Currently, it's in 2nd place, 1 vote behind the Catalina.
It's got over twice as many votes as the Sunderland, which is in 3rd

In that case I think that voting should be closed before any more get added. Grin

No one should ever talk about making aircraft - they should just do it. Those who talk about it never do it - period.  Wink

The results are:-

7th-4 votes-Avro Lancaster  Sad
7th-4 votes-DH Mosquito   Sad
6th-5 votes-Vickers Windsor   Sad
4th-6 votes-Hawker Hurricane   Sad
4th-8 votes-Supermarine Spitfire    Sad
3rd-9 votes-Shorts Sunderland    Smiley
1st-20 votes-North American B-25 Mitchell   Grin
1st-20 votes-Consolidated PBY-5 Catalina   Grin

This means that, because the Catalina, and Mitchell BOTH won, they will BOTH be made. Construction will begin soon.

Indeed, but they both did serve with the RAF. If you want a british aircraft, check out the new poll.
