Check you Display settings and see what your settings are at in the Scenery Objects section.

Scenery Complexity and Autogen Density effect how much stuff is displayed especially when on or very close to the ground. Could be you have these set to high for the fields you are at.

Also, try selecting clear skies and see if that helps. The detailed clouds really hit your frame rates.

Let's start with these few suggestions and go from there.

You will find that your frame rates will verry form airport to airport depending upon your settings and the complexity of the airport you or at. Ex KATL or atlanta hartsfield is a complex air port compared to KJAX Jacksonville INT.  And the weather and the plane you are in also make a difference, a detailed B747 will take a bigger hit on frame rates than a C152 will. And the more cloud cover there is the slower the frame rates.
I would suggest you start with all sliders set in middle then go from there.

the odd thing about this is that since ive had the game on this system its worked fine for 3 months, the all the sudden it started after i installed airbus pro. So the computer has handled it fine prior to this.

Scan your pc for spyware, use Adaware and spybot.  Also scan for a virus.

Remove Airbus Pro.

See if it improves.

If so...... leave it out.

All of this worked for me just now. I had the same questions and this was the reply that fixed it.

Thanks Brother Fireman!  Wink

No Problem firecop. And hello Brother!

I tell you this, every post in this thread offers good advice. There are so many variables for this flight sim and for each individual computer. What works for one might not do anything for another. Too bad it couldn't be a simple thing.

It is so important for every gamer to read as much as they can about their system and try different things. Visit "Tweaking" sites and see what you can do to speed up and stabilize your system. Delve into your graphics card proeprties and don't be afraid to experiment with the settings and different drivers.

As JBaymore said, if probs. start after installing certain program, utility, acft. or scenery, then suspect that new installation as the most possible explanation. Remove it and retest. If all is fine, then leave it out.

As a last resort, just kick the dang thing and see if that improves anything. Probably won't, but you will feel better.    Wink   And the hunt goes on!
