"It's a beautiful sunny day here in Portland...the sky is clear and the forecast for today is expected to be warm, the winds calm..." Thats what I woke up to this morning as my alarm went off in my hotel room.
I couldn't help think to myself that I was going to have a great day flying as I headed out to continue my adventure.

Today my plan was to get into California. My destination was San Francisco. So after finishing up my highly-overpriced bacon and eggs in the hotel  Angry Grin , I was out to load up the Baron.

Info for this leg...
...

Current Location and destination...
...

I got my clearance to take off and with a very slight headwind, the baron started to gracefully lift off...
...

The day was soooo nice that I just couldn't leave Portland without doing some sight-seeing. After all, I have never been here before, so I did a couple circles around the area...very nice!
...

Crossing over the border between Oregan and northern California....still some snow in the higher elevations so the temperature was only +2 Celcius....
...

While I was approaching KSFO...to say that I was just a wee bit conscerned about flying into this spaghetti mix of Airports all over the place...would not be lying...
There were aircraft ALL OVER the place and I felt like I had to play dodge ball to try to get lined up for final!
...

I managed to get around all the heavies in the area and get her lined for Runway 28R...
...

Nice touchdown right on the centre line...with only a little bit of smoke...
...

Got her parked and secured and as I was unloading the Baron, I could not help but notice that they like to seclude the smaller planes far away from the big boys!!  Grin
...

Thanks for watching...comments/suggestions always welcome!
