What did people think of their newest album "Vapour Trails" ?

I think it is a huge change in style for them. This is truly modern music, kinda like how Metalica changed style, yet it is still really intelligently written and sounds awesome. It is quite heavy all the way through. Definately better than "Test For Echo" (although the song "Driven" on that album truly is brilliant specially on the Rush in Rio DVD.) Some of the tracks are great such as:

One Little Victory
Secret Touch
Ghost Rider
Peacable Kingdom

What do you guys think? I think that if they carry on in this style then I will be very happy. 8)

Back in the day I was a huge Rush fan. Niel Peart was GOD!!  Grin
After Signals, they started to really change!
I really didn't dig their new direction. Too much keyboards and such.

They seem to be finding their roots again!I gotta get the new disc and see.

Hey Pete, check out this site!!  Grin

Although I haven't listened to them in several years I still think Neil Peart is the greatest drummer and Geddy Lee is one of the greatest bass players I've ever heard.
