Knowing some Latin American engineers (I've met two and both left me scared silly), the wings were probably being held on with gaffer tape and Wrigleys finest Sad
Alas aircraft maintenance here isn't much better. I've seen a few things flying here that even I wouldn't get in, as frankly I doubt they'd reach a safe height for the parachute to open before falling to pieces Shocked

That probably accounts for the fact that in my Pilot Magazines they can be purchased for little more than the price of a top-dog Cessna 152....!

I wouldn't fancy paying to run and maintain that big radial up at the pointy end... Roll Eyes...!
