Hello! Just curious - anyone else just a bit peeved that you can't use 121.5? You can tune to it; but can't do anything with it.
Just for myself; I think M$ missed with that one; even a virtual pilot should be able to call for help.

Being a military guy myself, I noticed they also missed, 243.0, which is Military Air Distress (MAD).
I also think they should do something with the emergency squawks of 7500 Hijack, 7600: Loss of comms, 7700: General Emergency. But I guess that's too specific.
What do computers and air conditioners have in common?
They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

Flight Unlimited had an option where if you dialed 121.5; you got a transmission option that indicated distress. I'd imagine something similar for FS2004; which would clear the airwaves and give you #1 to land at the nearest airport. Not much; but enough to give an impression of ground assistance.
