I created a rather long object for FS2002. It was a course of gates in the sky. In GMAX I laid out the gates as I wanted them and them I attached them so they formed one object. When I fly about half way through, the whole thing just disappears! Is there a size limit for objects? Its odd...I can see the whole course in the distance, but when I pass a certain point it disappears into thin air. When I go into slew mode and back up, it all reappears. But when I go forward again, it vanishes. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem with large hangers.  I was told, if the center point is out of your field of view, it stops getting drawn.  It's not a GMAX problem, it's MSFS.

   I don't know a work around.

What do computers and air conditioners have in common?...
They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

If that's the case, then wouldn't detaching the objects work?

Two possibilities -
1. one model with several (separate) objects (gates).
2. Make one gate and export several times, varying the location in virtual space.

I presume that the gate/object is a static/scenery object in FS?
