Hey all. Found all these photos from last summer. I went to Cornwall for my Holiday. We went down to Port Isaac for the day and bumped into a fund raising day for the life boat association.
Had to re-size the pics to fit them all in.
1. The lifeboat goes out to drop off the person to be saved.
2. He lets off a flare
3. Seaking comes into the bay
4. Hovers over the stranded fellow
5. Just after the winchman jumps in.
6. Pulling them in
7. Half way
8. Fly by
9. Bloooooody fast and loud for that big thing!
10. Dropping him back off into the boat
11. Hover to wave!
12. Winchmen men get a wave!
13. Life boat passes
A great display, a bit unexpected. An unusual sunny day for the UK! Oh yeah, it rained just after!! lol
Hope you like! Sam

That's a nice series of photos Sam. Thanks for posting them. Well done.
The scenery looks pretty good too.

Thanks all. I'd love to say it was my handy work but my Dad was the photographer. Since he got the digi cam he doesnt go any where without it!
I'm hopefully going to go to RAF Cosford air museum later this year
And I went to Mildenhall AB a few years ago so i'll try and see if I took any photos then.
Cheers. Sam

Ah, some piccy's from my part of the world.
Nice pics. I've seen a similar display done at Mylor.
P.s. You didn't by any chance see the Red Arrows at Fowey did you? They're at their best there.

No I didn't unfourtounately, I saw the amount of paintings of them in the shops around. I could have spent hundreds! lol I tried to buy a video of a display but they were out of stock
I saw them perform at Mildenhall though. It was absolutley brilliant!
lol
I'm hoping to see them at Cosford in the summer if its on!
Cheers. Sam 8)
