I am a firm believer in Mesh Scenery.   Having just installed FS9, I found that Microsoft had again left out our local Mountain, the 150 Metre mesh brought it back.These two shots show the difference.    The two shots aren't quite from the same position but notice the same green field to the right.   

This area is totally flat and there is a rise of 4 feet over about 20 miles.     The "mountain" is a local navigation spot for boats and planes and I would have thought it could have been included, at least in the highly rated FS9.
