In case anyone is interested...

There was a fatal crash here in New Zealand a few days ago involving a vintage Fouga Magister jet.   It was part of the local Warbirds Lineup and was practising for an upcoming Air Show.   Was seen to complete a couple of loops and rolls before climbing into cloud.    A change of pitch was heard before it nose-dived out of the cloud into mudflats and shallow water killing both pilots.  It was a neat aircraft and had given lots of pleasure to enthusiasts.    The wreckage did not look salvageable.

That's a shame Bazza. It's always sad when something like this happens. Sad

It's always a sad thing when a vintage aircraft is lost, but it's so much worse when loss of life is involved. Last year was a really bad one for vintage aviation, lets hope this year will be a better and safer one.
