Hello fellow pilots,

I am no Pilot-Ace and I would like to ask for some help. I usually do my landings manually and I was wondering how you use the ILS to do approaches and landings, I would really appreciate if someone could show me.  Cheesy

Also, how do you set AI Traffic because I used TTools and I followed the instructions but no AI planes came up  ??? ??

Thanks.  Grin

For the AI increase your traffic percent by gping to the statr up screen were on the side it goives you places to click on ...I think the one you want is SETTINGS then click AI....and increase.....

As far as the ILS is done search here....or just scim the forum...becasue there wasw just a post last week...

A quick overview :  You need to go to map view then clcik the airport....find the NAV 1 tune....and the heading...then put the NAV Tune in the NAV 1 radio.....when  in a few  miles from the airport  hit the button on the bottom of the radio stackes that says NAV 1....

I know I forgot where to put the airport heading at because I can't think of the autopolit box

Hi,

As it concerns your ILS question you can have a look here:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=school;action=display;num=...

About the AI problem try setting your AI to 100% and as a second step have a look in the directory FS2002\Scenedb\scenery (I hope I wrote it correctly as I am not at my PC roght now) and locate the traffic.bgl file. See if you have more than one files for traffic and rename the old (original) with a different extension (like *.bbb)

Hi guys,

Thanks. Actually, for the AI, I meant AI Traffic, or Traffic Tools by Mr. Lee Swordy, I have some trouble using it because it doesn't seem to work. Can anyone lend me a hand ? Thanks.

I thought the instructions that come with ttools were pretty straight forwared. But that is just me.
  I would suggest the following
1). check your AI settings and make sure they are set high enough.
2). try printing out the two txt files that ttools make after it is run one of them is a list of all of the flights at the airports that have them.
3). check and make sure the airport you are at is on that list. If not then you will have to add flight plans for this airport in order to have AI traffic.
4). you might have to add more traffic to this airport than what it has now.
5) if you do make changes make sure you rerun ttools to make the changes take place.

I would not swear to the fact that FS2004 came with traffic at every airport. But probably a safe bet.
I have noticed that some of the smaller airports do not have much in the way of AI traffic. Even though in the real world it has a fair amount.
