You know, given the number of panels for 727 around, it would help if you specify exactly WHICH panel you downloaded.
True is that even with the wide choice I've yet to find a 727 panel worth the time. And I've tried a lot of them.
My personal solution? I've aliased my 727 to the panel of a Lockheed 1011 Tristar I recently DLed that works great and forgot about trying to find other Boeing panels.

The problem is in your aircraft cfg. file
It does not mater what panel you have. The easy way to fix this is by opening one of the default aircraft cfg files(they can be opened with notepad) use the B747 aircraft as an example once you open this file minimize that window then open the B727 aircraft cfg. file then position the windows so you have the B747 on the left side and the B727 on the right side. Just click and hold on the top border to drag the window around. Go to the radio section and pay close attention to the lines that follow there I can almost gauratee you will find a differance between the two. I can not for the life of me remeber exactly how it reads I am at work so I can not check .
The easy thing to do is to copy the entire radio section from the B747 to the B727 but first make sure you delete that entire radio section from the B727 first. If you do not do this you might wind up with stray lines and present a major problem.
