Is that 50 deg load or idle?  If it is load that is right for that processor.

You need to get a program that runs in windows, or just run a game for a while then restart your comp and get into the monitor to see the temperature.

When i say right for that cpu i mean that is the temp to be expected.  I also get 50C load and 45C not load (when i have left it on doing nothing for a while).  My cooler is partially upgraded, only a quieter one not a better cooling one.  I would expect the cpu will be able to operate ok at 70C.
