Is there any way to get the airports in FS9 to always have their lights on? landing, taxi, etc?

It seems like sometimes when theres bad weather during the day no airport has lights on, thus making it hard to see!! I know i shouldn't be flying VFR in bad weather... but id love to have landing lights to guide me, etc. So is there any way?

The only runways I know are left on all night are ones that are controlled, to activate the lights at an uncontrolled airport key the mike switch 7 times within 5 seconds.  Many uncontrolled airports do not have taxi lights and even some financially challenged controlled airports don't have em either.

Oh so its only the controlled ones that have lights.

I've been wondering why some airstrips dont have lights at night.

Unfortunantly, MS seems to have forgotten to put this little feature in FS Wink

Yeah... I remember one time I went flying with my uncle, we got back to the airport at around 10:00, and he said "Click that button there three times" and the lights went on... Neat to see from the air... They go out after 30 minutes, though... Roll Eyes

With FSNav you can see that some bigger airports have "Pilot Controlled Lighting" on various radio frequencies, but I haven't actually tried anything with it.
