I like that about the FF Pro... Any way, I would get a Saitek Cyborg 3d Gold (USB). Good, cheap and realiable. For details go to http://www.dxmarket.com/saitek/dir/1.html and to buy it in the UK go to http://www.gameplay.co.uk/ . There you are, Sorted  Wink

Some people have problems with M$ own joystick for an M$ game.  It does not work aswell as the Saitek Evo or Logitech Force 3D.  The Force 3D has force feedback the Evo does not, if you were wondering.

I use the Force 3D and think it is an excellent joystick for this Sim and various other programs i use it for.

I have used a Logitech Wingman Extreme FF 3D with the sim and it works great.  Had one on my other computer before this on.

I have changed to a CH Products usb yoke for most of my flying.  I fly GA or heavy metal....not fighters.... so the yoke is more realistic.  The only thing is that the FF not being there is a "step backward".

It is amazing how much easier it is to do an approach and landing with the yoke.

If the CH Products yoke incorporated FF it would be THE flight sim controller to have.  Hope they eventually come out with one.

I may eventually try to "steal" a FF circuit from the wingman and add it to the CH yoke.

best,

Even though I'm not knowledgeable on the workings of a FF joystick I can't see it being that hard to incorperate into a yoke.
I have used the CH Yoke before and like stated makes flying the sim more realistic. But I'm also waiting for a FF yoke to come along, so in the meantime I use the M$ FF pro. Never had any problems with it, in FS9 but can't get it too work with anything else.
So John if you give it a try and it works let us know!!
That is something I'm willing to try!

I'm using a Logitech Wingman Attack 2 joystick Smiley...
I got it for 19.99 USD and its got 6 programmable buttons (no hat switch Tongue)

It's cool for basic flying, but, I'm now wishing I got one with force feedback (FF) Sad
