Okies. I'm finally starting my campaign for my squad...But...i have my aircraft needed. There a a "few" things i need. I'll list them here and hopefully someone knows where they are...
1) How do i convert a flyable aircraft so it can be ai?
2) England Scenery (with airfields please)
3) French Scenery (again with airfields please)
4) Barrage Ballons which can be placed as scenery
5) Flyable Ju-87 or Do-17.
6) British Airfield Objects (trucks jeeps etc)
7) Dover Cliffs!
8) Better bomb and flak gun effects
9) 50 cal, 88 cal and 22mm sound effects
10) Anyone got a Damage profile for the Bf109s and He-      111's that come with the BBMF addon by Justflight? The standard ones a bit crappy.
11)..Thats it...

Cheers buds

OK. Let me have a go.

1. To make an unflyable AI only drone open the AIR file in AirEd & change the Aircraft Type from 0 to 2. You can delete the contents of the Panel & Sound folders to make the files smaller. I usually leave a dummy text file in the folders so they unzip properly.

2. Steve McClelland's CFII Europe Release 2 suits me. It's terrain mesh & includes over 80 airfields. Not the CFS1 default airfields but the mesh is compatible with the GZR & Martin Wright's airfields among others. *

3. Steve also did France in a separate release. It might be CFSII Europe Release 1 or 3. Try a search using his name. **

5. Steve Fairs did a Ju-87. Check out his site at Sim-Outhouse.

6. You should be able to use the CFS1 default objects included with CFS2.

7. I saw the cliffs mentioned in a recent thread on this forum. I tried the suggested scenery but no cliffs.  Roll Eyes Maybe I missed something.
Be careful that mesh by different designers doesn't cause conflicts. It's best to settle on one even if it's not exactly what you want.

*PS. CFSIIEurope release 2 here. http://www.simviation.com/cfs2scenery3.htm

** CFSIIEurope release 1. For CFSII ONLY,55 fields.All fields with CFS1 NDB's. Adds most of CFS1 fields to Germany-France-Belguim-Netherlands-Austra-Switzerland. http://www.simviation.com/cfs2scenery2.htm

RAAF453_Goose,

I think I saw the Dover Cliffs at Martin Wright's website...

~S~ Goose,

Isn't there a flyable Do-17 in the CFS1 - CFS2 axis conversion pack at simviation: http://www.simviation.com/cfs2aircraft1.htm?

Haven't tried it - but there is an aircraft there which appears to have the necessary files. Worth a look?

I know that ALphasim have got some flyable CFS2 stukas - cost you a £5 for the privilege mind... Wink

All the best,

Pads
