OK; this is driving me totally boohickey.
Just for 'fun'; I decided to go through the lessons. Everything goes good until the checkride.
Take off, climb out, level at 2000ft. Kewl. Easy. Then she says '90 deg. steep turn'.
Geez; how steep does she bloody well want it?
I do a standard 45-deg. steep turn. Response: 'Your bank was too shallow.'
Fair 'nuff. 60 deg. 'Your bank was too shallow'. ??????
I hauled the bloody thing around in a screaming U-turn that would've done credit to Art Scholl. 'Your bank was too shallow'.
WAAAAAAAA!!!!
(cough) Sorry.
Anyhoo; I've tried everything I know of - replayed that %&*%^%$#$!! flight 20+ times; each with the same result - 'Your bank was too shallow'. On each flight; all parameters stayed nailed on their assigned positions. Each turn rolled out within 3 deg. of the assigned heading without overshoot. (Doesn't help that halfway through the turn a little 'decrease bank angle to 20 deg.' sign pops up.)
So apparently; I'm supposed to do a turn somewhere between 20 and 90 degrees of bank.
(And yes; I'm quite comfortable with doing steep turns in real-life. That's what's got me so frustrated.

)
Oh - I started out with full realism; went to 'easy', went to autorudder, the works - same result each time.
Has anyone seen this problem, and is there a fix? Thanx.
