For Woodlouse
Summer, 1940. The South of England.
Approaching Southampton docks, target in sight.
Bombs gone!
A very near miss. The target was the dry dock.
Heading back out, where is the RAF?
Fighters move in from above.
Spitfire MkIa V’s Heinkel He 111H2
There is only one winner.
Over the French coast, almost home now.
Gear down.
Another mission completed.
Heinkel He 111H2 from Groundcrew for CFS3

LOL Hawker.
at first glance I thought you were saying, "Heinekens over England"! I guess you can see what's on my mind!
Nice shots and sequence!

Nice shots and great plane but if you look in your history book oyu'll see who had air superiority in the end
I still think it was a brilliant era for aircraft tho, Brilliant birds on both sides. cheers. Sam

Lovely shots Roger, truely gorgeous. And don't worry about the German aeroplane thing, even I've been known to go over to the Heineken side for a quick flight

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
