something thats been on my mind for a while and i thought i would share it with you guys so you can discuss. Kind of inspired by something J41 posted.
Ok alot of people are "bored" with F1 because Ferrari dominate the sport. And it brings up the question, Why? Well people like to say they are the richest team in F1 with unlimited money. They are not much richer if at all than a few teams.. Williams BMW, Mclaren Mercedes, Renault, Toyota and Jaguar all have close to the same budgets. So then it brings up the question why arnt any of those teams competitive with Ferrari. Toyota are the most profitable car maker in the world and they dominate most other motor racing sports. Simple answer is politics. What are all those teams that Ferrari isnt? the answer, Public car manufacturers. By that i mean they make cars for the general public, Ferrari are a specialist company who produce very few cars and all to personal order. This means that the company can devote all its top brass and time to the F1 team as that is their money making area. Other comapanys money making area is the car market, thus the management devote its top workers designers and testers to that area. What these companies need to do, if they want to win is devote more time to their F1 team. Or Ferrari will continue dominate. The only team on the grid who does have an Excuse is Minardi.
