VERY nice job! SFO and OAK are the kind of approaches that you sure hope the pilot know what he's doing.... Is there really a runway up there, or just more water!? Wink

lol..I know what you mean...First time I flew into SFO we went in on runway 28R at night...

dark cloudy night...

You could just see a refelection on the water, and where beginning to pray that you didn't go down any farther, when all of a sudden you are over the end of the runway...

Nice shots as well..

LOL thanks guys. Yeah I totally know what you mean about those approaches. I have flown into both airports a few times and one flight that stands out was when I was flying on Southwest from Las Vegas to Oakland last summer. It was a mid-morning arrival and overcast over the bay. As the crew made the final announcment that we were moments from touching down we broke through the low cloud layer and all you could see was water below. I was familiar with the approach but I observed others around me looking out their windows seemingly baffled. I could almost hear the thoughts in their head LOL.

gotta try boston to:) being the first time i had even seen the airport i wasn expecting any of the runways to be over water, so when your suddenly 200 feet above the water with no ground in sight not knowing the airport you start to get a little sweaty Grin
