As promised here is the rest of my flight in the mooney..

After flying around for awhile to burn off fuel I have located Taku Harbor my final resting place if I don't survive... Sad

Here I'm heading back towards the airport, and to my surprise the rest of my landing gear will not come down electrically or manually no matter how hard I try...

a quick prayer, fuel all but completely gone...I set up bring her in and of course the gear holds on for about half of the runway then gives way and she begins to slide on her belly, the prop stopped against the ground many yards before...

my prayers where answered, i survived and so far the plane hasn't blown up! Although we are off the end of the runway, I still see the airport back behind me...unfortunately no tower or FBO...just another field in the middle of nowhere...

pop the door open and get ready for a long trek across the hills...Smiley

bumping one of the wheels too hard, then retracting...

FS thinks you lost the wheel and doesn't retract it

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

Nice Jared. There is a mod for the Mooney which gives her 350 hp and some cool flight dynamics. If you are interested, let me know. I will see if I can dig the file up!

About two weeks sitting in uncle tom's (that's what he told me to call him) cabin...Smiley

every waking hour I lay there listening for the sound of a gasolin engine whether it by plane train or automobile...

seems to me like I shall be stuck here forever...Smiley
