Hi Chuck,

There are no taxiway signs in default 2002 scenery.

Dont know of any 'programs' that will do that globaly (at least not freeware), but many airport downloads will have them.

Taxiway signs are just one of the many nice additions in FS2004.

Cheers,
Dave

There used to be an outfit at taxisigns.com or taxiwaysigns.com that had tons of them.  The site was taken down without notice about a year ago.  I have a few installed - Miami, Atlanta, San Francisco, Orlando, Tampa - if you would like any of those.

I know this sounds like the cheater's way, but you could just use the "Progressive Taxi" option in the ATC and follow that pink line . . .

OR

If you are really interested in realistic taxiing, go to the airport you are taking off from and switch to top-down view.  Take a screenshot of the airport, where you can see the whole set of taxiways.  Do the same for the airport you plan to land at.  Now you have a map for taxiing for those two airports.

The taxiways don't bother me, it's not knowing which gate is which or where to park. That and the airports that just say "Taxi to runway ** using taxiway..."cause there are no names for the taxiways.

hey Chuck,

I don't know what happened to it but webbPA is right, i cant seem to get into taxiwaysigns.com Cry

However, the good news is that most of their files have been uploaded to flightsim.com.  They are small files but help out a lot- you can find them for most major airports Wink Smiley
