I would take into count your system spec cause fs2004 is a little harder on a system than fs2002 was.but fs2004 is much more improved.but if you have at leaste a 1.4Ghz you will run it ok but you probley wont see much new.but i didnt get happy till i upgraded to the 2.0Ghz.and its running really good with that and a gig of ram on win xp.but i still think i should go on up to the 3.0Ghz to get the most out of it.or atleast a 256mb DDR supported video card.so thats the best thing i could tell you about it.but i shure wouldnt go back to fs2002 after running fs2004.even though i have spent alot of money to get my system where it is today just to run this sim.

I would say go all for it! Lots of improvements over FS2002 however the game needs a more powerful machine Wink. If you've got a good comp then FS2004 is for you! Grin

It works on less than perfect systems.  My PIII 800MHZ is quite happy running it with the graphics set at about 75%. Tongue  Buy it at CompUSA: $20 mail in rebate.

I was going to ask the same question, you guys have pretty much convinced me now. It's £40 on Play.com...anyone know if it's cheaper anywhere else?

I agree that 2K4 is the best yet.  I've been avid since the '98 version was out and have flown a lot on the pro versions of 2K and 2K2.  2K4's graphics are astounding,  BUT I have spend nearly $2K to buy a new machine, then upgraded that to the specs below.  It still bogs down when the weather's heavy.  Usually, I can lock the frames at 30/s and sustain that rate.  I'm tempted to buy a new computer, but I don't know if it'll do any good.  Even as it is, I am very happy and would recommend doing whatever it takes to support the program's amazing potential.  You'll enjoy it.
