In my part of the world we rejoice at 2 inches of snow. There's been no sign of snow drifts in cornwall since 1984. Tongue

We don't get that much snow in Scotland unless you live on the more mountanous areas. I live about 2 miles from Inverness city centre and so far we have had roughly 2 weeks of snow this winter. It goes and comes. Some years there is less, it varies. It usually does not get much deeper than a 3/4ft though.
However if you go out into the hills that surround Inverness there is a lot more.
