Hello all,

I've successfully added the default mooney as an AI flgiht plan.

Now i'm interested in adding my add-on aircraft to the llist of available aircraft for AI use.

When I add the line in the Aircraft.txt file and go to compile it I end up getting an error message about the cruise speed being corrupt or something along those lines...Sad

Can anybody tell me how to fix this?

I also have a problem with getting an airport to work (0G6) When I compile the flightplan file it tells me that the airport is not part of the airport.txt file, after looking for it I found it in the airport.txt file, but still won't work.

I'm using Simple AI at the moment and playing around with Yroute, eventually hoping to be able to do it without either of these tools.

My thoughts on the airport problem would be to go into AFCAD and create parking and rework the aiport? IS this right?

can you post your 2 lines, the one for the AI aircraft and the airport?

What is your cruise speed for the mooney and your Airport code, I believe they are all 4 numbers or letters(KSPM ex)

If there is an airshow with in 2 states of me I'm there&&...&&&&

Here's the line from the aircraft.txt file to add the bellanca decathalon to my AI aircraft usable list.

AC#60,110,"ACA 8KCAB Super Decathlon - Paint #1"

I copied the aicraft title from the *.cfg file for the aircraft. (Cruise speed is estimated of course)

I have no problem adding the default mooney at different airports, but have problems adding ANY aircraft in/out of 0G6 (Williams County in Ohio)

Upone further research I have found that the airport does not exist in the airport.txt file.  To make it usable I should use Afcad right?

ok, you need to add parking there first as the default 0G6 doess't have any parking there.

Did you add this line to your airport.txt

0G6,N41* 28.04',W84* 30.39',730

Ok, I added the line to my aircraft file, and added the parking at the airport...

played around with the aircraft file and got the d/led aircraft in question to work...not sure why the plane wouldn't work before, must have been an extra space in the title or something...Smiley

Sometime I will post some shots..Smiley

Thanks for the help planespotter...Wink
