Does anyone else have trouble completing the check ride in private pilot?
Seems like my trouble starts in the first steep turn and I can't get past that, Any help out there?

Hi B,P,C

I can't give you an answer but I can comment,

If you search this forum for previous topics you will find various questions asked about the checkrides in FS2002.

They do have a hiccup with the check rides, I tried passing them before I started flying online, now I only concentrate on exams etc that refer to my VA flying.

I'm sure some one can give you a direct answer, but while waiting, check out the previous questons and see what you come up with.

Good Luck

Bah you don't need a checkride. Freakin' instructor doesn't know what he's talking about anyways. I earned it, but yes, it is incredibly rediculous to get. Just wait 'til you're doin VOR approaches in a 737 for the ATP ride. Wink

I just thought I would add this. The instructor at landing in Flight Sim 95 was so perfect everyone just hated him. I have, and know others who  have, created absolutely hellacious scenes for him to land in (my worst was 50 knot crosswinds, 0 visibility, and thunderstorms). Now I gotta admit, I miss ruining the instructor. I bet that's why they took the "Land Me" feature out. Tongue

Even the FS2000 checkride was passable. I figure since I earned the FS2000 PPL, i'm still licensed to fly virtually Grin

Hell yah you are, it's the same stuff practically. VOR approaches in a 737? Peice of cake. ILSs at minimums on a dark and stormy night into mountainous terrain. Child's play. Getting past the most basic test on Flight sim. Mission Impossible III.
