Who makes good aviation pedals that will work with '04?  I have a MS Sidewinder P2 that has the rotating stick, but I want a set of real rudder pedals.  Is there a company that makes pedals with split real brakes like a real aircraft?
Smiley ???

Cvrt,

CH Products makes a nice set of usb pedals that REALLY improve flying the simulation.  If you check around they can be found for about $110 USD.  They are rugged, a snap tio install, and work well.

Other than that.......... the other commercial pedals that are available that I have seen are "one step up" in the reality department and about three steps up in price.

best,

...................john

PS:  Also check older threads here and also down in the "Homebuilt Cockpit" forum for some other threads  on pedals.

Cvrt,

Yup...... those are the pedals.

If you are good with your hands you can also pursue trying to build a set by canibalizing a joystick.  See some of the stuff in the "Homebuild Cockpits" forum for ideas.

Best,

YES YOU DO!!!  I am sad that I cannot afford to by nice stuff, like a new computer (one of these days I am going to "accidently" break my piece of crap HP PIII 800MHZ, to give an excuse to buy a new one.  But, I am thankfull that I get to go to a a nice aviation college to get degrees in ATC and Prof. Flying.  1000 hrs. on my computer don't even come close to an hour in my school's full motion Cessna Caravan simulator, much less, actual time in the 172RG's.

I've got those pedals and a Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro Joystick. It's a perfect combination. The pedals are really great!
