How do I change the default splash screen?
and can I use any picture, and what is the best fromat .bmp, .jpg ect...

Well, there is a SplashScreen Randomizer prog around here somewhere, with a few other splash screens included with it.  As for other splash screens, there is an entire section around here for just that.  Click on "Downloads" on the main page and you can navigate to them from there.
