It's not showing. lol
To answer your question though, I resize (when needed) using Irfanviewer...great freeware image program.
www.irfanview.com
A lot of what goes into a good screenshot is composition. One trick for setting up good shots is to try to duplicate shots you see on sites like airliners.net.
Also try playing with different angles, different lighting, etc. I've always had an interest in objects photographed (or in this case screenshots) at an "unusual" angle. Even the most boring subject can come out incredibly when you look at it from a different perspective than the "norm".
Great edit, Bob.&&&&&&Google it. &&&&

did you upload the file here at SimV? The properties show that it is trying to get the file off of your computer...

Hi sabotage,
BTW welcome to the SimV, I think you need to check your upload link and type in the exact name of your pic in the my pics section of this URl
http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/yourpic.jpg
^ ^
There are two programs you can use.
There is a program called screenshot manager (it allows you to take as many shots during your flight and stores them automatically to a folder of your choice)
The other program is called pixresizer. Set this program to go into that selected folder and resize all the pics to SimV recommendations and then it saves it to another folder (which I call SimvScreenies) of your choice for posting here!
I have a link for the screenshot manager if your interested, both programs are freeware, but I don't have the link for the pixresizer program. I still have the zip file I could send to you if you are interested

Hiya all,
Mav:
Pixresizer is available as a freeware download from
http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm
. It is brilliant & I recommend it.
Sabotage:
Your pictures IS showing up for you, but NOT to all the rest of us because you have put in the URL as
file:///C:\My Documents\whatever.jpg
This will mean that unless internet explorer finds a file in C:\My Documents and it's called whatever.jpg, it cannot display the file. You get around this by uploading it to the SimV server using the upload images link - here:
http://www.simviation.com/yabbupload.html
If you upload a file here called 123456.jpg, then the address to put between the [img] tags is
http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/123456.jpg
Hope that helps you a bit

OK, I am trying to follow the directions in the post about "Finnaly how to post made easy" deal and this is what happens. I go to the upload a file link (BTW not looking like the picture on the post) It has 5 places to upload different files. I click on the first one on the brouse button and direct to where the picture is on my computer (that is the address you all are seeing on this post) Then I click upload. It then tells me the file is uploaded but dosent give me an address anywhere. Any suggestions?
