Just the way it is Some Days

On opening his new store, a man received a bouquet of flowers. He was puzzled when he read the enclosed card that said, “Deepest Sympathy.”

While growing annoyed at the message, his telephone rang. It was the florist, apologizing for having sent the wrong card.

“Oh, it’s alright,” the storekeeper said. “I’m a businessman and I understand how these things can happen.”

“It gets worse,” the florist continued. “I accidentally sent your card with a funeral arrangement.”

“Oh? What did it say?” the business owner asked.

“Congratulations on your new location.”
