I have not done macros for a while. When I do need to create a macro I use FSDS1. But  try this I save the macros to a folder outside FSSC. Then when I get ready to use the macro I browse to the folder where I have the macro stored. It has been over a year since I experimented in macro creation. The above suggestion was the fix for the only problems I had. But I was using FSDS1. I hope this helps.

I am still learning FSDS2 so this advice is just guesswork. Start FSDS2 open the FSDS_AnimDemo from the samples folder in FSDS2. See how the aircraft is contained within the transparent box? I have not worked the tut for the project. But my best guess is that the box is a reference part telling the sim that parts contained within are all part of main aircraft. Could your macro problem be something along those lines?

I suggest reposting your question in the Scenery design forum a few spaces down from this forum on the Forum index page.
