Bush Plane? (Read 200 times)

I'm looking for some nice bush planes to fly around with in the scenic mountains of British Columbia. But since there are so many of them, and maybe some I don't know yet, I ask you if you can recommend some models. But they have got to fulfill some requirements:

They should:

- be at the most as big as a Cessna Caravan.

- have a cruise speed of at least 140 knots.

- have a good climb rate.

- have a virtual cockpit.

- have a tricycle gear (not necissarily).

- be capable of STOL (not necissairly).

- be piston powered.

Any recommendations?

Silent.

There is a payware Pilatus Porter (I can't remember who its by though) that would fill all those criteria.
Have you considered sacrificing a little speed and going with an An-2? There are even float and ski variants available...

Have you considered Chuck Domes Aero Commander? http://www.simviation.com/fs2002props36.htm It works fine in FS9. Nice plane, a wee bit bigger than the Caravan, but great fun.
Of course you could go for a Twotter!!! Roll Eyes
A Beech Queen Air is different, http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props8.htm
Piaggio P-166 or the Skycamper are available at http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props7.htm
There is also an Aero Commander 680 at http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props6.htm
However for really weird try the Condor http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props1.htm

If none of those satisfy, then I've got no idea!!!

lol,i already know about the "com". have you ever looked into my "north pole" threads? Wink

none of the twotters - neither the vc one ,nor the one from project globetwotter satisfies.
the queen air - mike stone,no vc.
piaggio 166- not really convincing...
aero commander - already got it. Wink
condor - umm...no.

i've found an aviat husky,a cessna 195 or the bellanca scout. i'll check them out, they seem to be pretty suitable for my needs.

but thanks anyways,mark!  Smiley

Well in that case... there is only one option left, not passenger friendly I'll admit, but its off to vintage downloads and get the Mosquito!
I'm off to sink another Czech beer and listen to some more Wagner Wink Grin Grin
