Hi there,
This may be old news to some, but I was digging around old files at Flightsim and I came across this Kirk Olssen A-10 Warthog. It is absolutely stunning. The textures are as good as his F-16. Anyway, it flies great in FS9. It has a basic VC and the 2d panel is a lear alias, but I will be hunting for an A-10 panel now!!
I still can't believe I had never seen this?!
Thanks
Eric

Erick

is this the A-10 that has 2 diferent sets ? I mean, loaded and unloaded???

Cos if so, it's really a great aircraft to fly into fs9
and the plane herself, it's an amazin design, very very scarie and sexy at same time!

good flights!

cya!  oooh, nice pics btw!   Grin

JUST ONE WORD: FREEWARE! The more free it is, the more shall I fly!&&

Eric, do a search for the Web N Blue A-10 I believe here and on Avsim.

It has a very nice 2D panel and an awesome sound pack that I use for the Alpha Sim Warthog.

Thanks for the replies guys!

Dave, I'll have to have a look for that Webinblue A10 for use as AI. This plane flies nice and looks good but I just discovered that from either a 2d cockpit or a VC, this A10 does not appear properly. It only looks OK in tower or spot! Not sure why? Anyway, before I pull it out of AI commision, here is one last shot. And a beauty, if I do say so myself!
Thanks
Eric

Lemoncat,
I don't know if this is the best thing to do but it worked for me. Answer "no" when the warning about incompatibility comes up.

As far as sound and panel, I suggest the sound and panel from the Webinblue A10 available here (as suggested by Planespotter. Both are pretty good (especially the sound).
Thanks
Eric

LC, do this fix

I found this fix for Posky's C-17 which for me never would show the gear or flap movement.

http://forum.projectopensky.com/ind...?showtopic=6792
In your FS9.cfg file, there is a section called:

[FrameCallNoWarn]

Remove any reference to the C-17 from this section and when you run the sim and select the C-17. Remember to say NO when it asks you if you want to remove anything

I know there is a problem with the C-17 as flyable, you can't see the AI from the 2D or VC?

I'm assuming this is due to the model but it sure makes a nice AI plane  Wink

I haven't worked with AI aircraft yet.  Was the multi-aircraft pic done with AI and is there an easy way to learn this ?

Thanks anyone
