Well my GEForce4 Ti4200 has died on me ....very hot here during the last few weeks. Screen comes up with a lot of lines at boot up and scrambling/freezes in the games (CFS3 and Simulator 04)....tried a rollback with XP but still had the same problem....guess it's dying or crippled.

What would be the best card under $350 (Australian) to replace it????  Any suggestions??

Pentium4, 2 Gig  1GigRAM

GeForce FX5700 Ultra, vastly better than the ti4200 and pretty much the best mid-range card currently on the market. (IMHO).

Having said that, I'm more than happy with my "old" FX5600.

Paul.
