Here are some pics of my trip from Tacoma Narrows, to Astoria Mun., then on to Newport.  What better aircraft to take an adventure in than the Carenado Beech Bonanza.

Taxing out from my brown T-hanger.

...

South departure approved. Cleared for takeoff.

...

Climbing to altitude.  Clouds ahead and we are VFR so we are going to go VFR on top.

...

Turning out towards Astoria, getting ready to make my decent through the opening in the clouds.

...

No problem, we can sneak in under these clouds.

...

Left out of Astoria and started heading south along the coast to Newport.

...

Clouds lifted and what a beautiful sunset.

...

Sun is going down and I didn't bring my flash.  Landed just after sunset. Grin

The scenery is free.  Tacoma Narrows found at Avsim.  I forget the authors name, but he did a terrific job at rendering the field.

One of the best paywares I have ever purchased.  I was glad to pay the money for it and give credit where it is due. Grin
