Ad ons-
too many to name
A few hawaii sceneries
CFSII EUROPE 2 & 3
Crete
Japan terrain
.... list goes on
Instead does anyone know what texture is associated with rivers and stuff I might be able to find the solution easier that way
I am pretty familiar with how CFS2 does things, so don't be afraid to use big words or tell me to do things that "might potentially mess up game"
maybe the name of file or where I might find it
maybe scenery/World?
{Side bar conversation]//btw? while im at it whats the difference between the scenery and scenery db forlder[/sidebar]

Look in CFS2 under SCENEDB\world\texture
The two files (bitmap images) you want to concern yourself with are
vrbanksu
and
vriversu
. If the are missing or corrupted you will need to replace them.

The Pactex textures are wonderful (I use them myself) but some people prefer to retain the stock river textures. If you backed up the originals try replacing the pactex ones with them (the two I mentioned earlier) and see how it looks.

Here's the river with the vriversu.bmp from PacTex 3
Its green
But the screenshot from below is with the PacTex 5 vriversu.bmp
I didn't seem to get a vrbanksu.bmp in my PacTex, maybe thats what I need

I don't have a vrbanksu.bmp in my PacTex either. I thought there was one but apparently not. My PacTex vriversu.bmp gives me the same green rivers you show in your screenshot.
I'll send you an email with a couple of replacement textures you can try.

I think putting the alpha layer from pactex 5 makes it gray.
