anyone who is looking to buy a joystick for flight simulator should get the Saitek X45 it is expensive but worth every penny

Agreed...but it's not really that expensive.  It's just a hair over the cost of FS itself.  Relatively speaking, that's not too bad, especially considering the amount of stick you get for your buck! Wink

not agreed. i don't need such an ugly flight control system,which is additionally overloaded with buttons. my thrustmaster fox 2 pro shock works just fine,is relatively cheap and has everything i need for playing every flight sim.

To each his own but I've been really pleased with my X-45 joystick. Actually the price wasn't too bad. I ordered it from the manufacturer for about $80 which was about $5 more than I paid for the piece of junk Logitech stick that had just broke on me. Wish now I'd just gone ahead and checked up on the Saitek before I'd purchased the other.

Saitek's stuff is generally very good, I'm using their Gyborg 3D Gold stick and I haven't had any problems with it Smiley
