ok, could someone help a computer illiterate person understand how to use this "simple" tool?

what exactly do i have to do to create a flight plan?
it mentions decompiling a bgl. file with TTools, how do i do that?

if i coud do that i think i could do the rest

You first need TTools in order to work on flight plans

Then I would recommend Yroute over the simple AI. I've read other uses comment it's actually harder to use over Yroute.

http://www.spacejock.com/yRoute.html

make a Yroute folder right off the Ttools folder, copy the 3 txt files into the yroute folder. Select 2002 or 2004 and then load up the flight plan.txt.

Then you just select the AC#, departure and arrival airport and the other information you want.

This tool is really easy Wink

good luck

If there is an airshow with in 2 states of me I'm there&&...&&&&

Let's make it a little easier:
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/sergs.skj/Finished%20airline%20packages/

Get the base package, install that.
then download the rest and install them.

Result: loads of Tupolevs with pushback and ground support vehicles.

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

I wish I could get the program (Simple AI) to work! I keep getting an error message saying that "Some files on my PC are older than the ones it is trying to install, do I want to update these?"... "Restart your PC and re-run the installer again"... Get the same DAMN message even after clicking yes!!!

You really don't want to try to get it to work, no offense to the fellow who put it together, but it is very basic, and will not work very well for most of your traffic needs. I suggest Yroute as well, I'm still learning it as well...Wink
