I have installed a TWA\AA 757-200 and the flaps are black and the entire horinz. stab. is also black.  I have been messing around with the settings and nothing will help.  Also a MD-80 that is installed in the select aircraft dialog box the graphics are smeered(looks like its being magnified) these aircraft fly fine, but being a simmer perfection is a must.  My system is running on XP and is using, 3Dfx 16mb graphics card, 256mb SDRAM, 1.2G Athlon processor.  Is my system not powerfull enough to produce the graphics???  I also tried a program that checks the .mdl and they check out fine.  The planes are GMAX; do I have another program installed?? Plz Help Chris

Hi Chris. I suspect this is your problem. I always liked the 3dfx graphics cards myself but unfortunately they're not ideal. Is this the Voodoo3? My Voodoo5 5500 is OK on a less powerful system than yours but I can't get the FS2002 chrome reflective effects. 256Mb is about the minimum RAM to run the sim on WinXP. Your system might be OK on less complex aircraft.
