If you mean the flaps down to hover style ones, then I believe that the answer is hidden somwhere in the *.air file. If you haven't got AirEd you can get the latest one from http://members.dsl-only.net/~eagle/#statement Its worth checking anyway.
Hope I help, Dan  Wink

Tha AI can't handle a helo .air file.

The VSTOL .air file is the closest available workaround.

~S~ I've seen a mission on simviation for helicopters including AI helicopters.

I tried it back in my CFS1 days and it seemed to work fine for me

Check out the CFS AI Helicopters link at: http://www.simviation.com/cfs1mod7.htm

All the best,

pads

Grin Ok i think as I remember you have to have the bell Ranger file from FS98 for helos to work  What helos are you trying to fly? Helos in cfs1 are better than any other flight sim I've tried.Too easy in FS2002 and others. No flaps,no spin control, ( lets you fly backwards when you get the hang of it)just fly it like a chopper.I'll look and see. It's been a long time since i first added helos to cfs1 so I'll have to try and remember.

No luck. The Bell Ranger was just for aliasing panels and sound, not flight cfg. Never really had a problem with helos in cfs1 so perhaps you might try another one. Sorry, couldn't be anymore help. Roll Eyes
