First, I would like to thank all of you here for helping me so much and so well that everything has gone very smoothly without even the need to ask any questions until now... kudos!

The problem i am having is that I have installed the CRJ panel and when I fly, the panel shows up fine, but all the rectangular spots for displays or gauges are empty!  I re-read the instructions and made sure all of the gauge files are in the FS9 Guage folder... any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this!

Don,

When you loaded the gauges to the FS9 main gauge file, did you check yes to over right old files if it ask you?  Sometimes if you do not, there is an update to a gauge that makes it work with that particular aircraft.

DONT overwrite default gauges though. I had to reinstall 2002 because I overwrote some of the radio gauges with the peice of crap 2000 ones.

You might want to check the panel cfg file for your panel
when you go to the aircraft folder make sure there is only one panel folder and ony one panel cfg inside the panel folder. You can open the panel cfg file using notepad check to make sure it is using the correct bitmap files for each window.
EXP Window(00)
       File=crj_main
The only other suggestion I can make is to invest in a panel design program such as flight1 custom panel designer program. Cost is less than $40.00 includding shipping. This is an excellent program it has the ablity to trouble shot panel cfg files and will let you know of any problems. It has an extensive help file that even a beginner can use.

Shhh! Don't waste 40 bucks for that thing. Get CFGEdit and make your own r0x0rz panels for fun. It can really be entertaining, it's all I do with FS anymore lol.
