Holding down 1 or 2 will turn the aircraft during pushback, just be patient cuz it takes a bit to kick in

Forget 1 and 2. Download and instal rcbgh-32.zip. Hefty readme file but easy just don't rush into it. You'll find it does all that you want, control pushback time and angles, taxi throttle speeds, on landing will brake and raise your flaps, on reaching 40kts.

Easiest way is really to just press 1 or 2 (NOT ON THE KEYPAD, USE THE 1 and 2 ABOVE THE Q and W!!!)
Make sure you do it immediately after the Shift+P, and don't change views after you do it. (Changing views cancels the turn!)
As soon as the aircraft has rolled back about the same distance as the length of the plane, it will turn.
Good luck!

I've never noticed it cancelling a turn before, then again that may just be me. I was playing around in Air Force One today, during pushback, I looked around and it didn't cancel the turn.

No, not looking around. I'm talking about pressing S to switch views.
