Hi,

My Dauntless works great.  The MDL is from the 1% plane the air file I found on netwings. My Panel has a dive brake switch.  But if you mean "can you see them"
then no I don't think so.

Ya it doesnt matter how good the brakes are, or what powers them (pneumatics, hydraulics, or electrics) there is no way that something in WWII could move THAT fast. Tongue Roll Eyes

Also, on another note, there was never animation built into speed breaks up until FS2K2 on the default airplanes. I dunno if M$ was just too lazy to do it, or they didn't know how (which I seriously doubt, because immediately after the game came out we had downloads with visible speedbreaks), or just thought it was unnecessary. It really ruined the game for me, I am in love with the P-38, and when I saw that it was an incredible model, I was in awe, then I saw that you couldn't even see the speedbreaks, and I jsut hated it, because they were a distinguishing feature of the aircraft in reality. So unless you like the Sweizcher (sp?) in the civilian FSs, don't expect Speed Breaks in CFS2
