“Hold on I yelled” as the chopper violently tilted to one side due to a gust of wind. Now the guys who were chanting, “No fear…No fear”, were yelling, “We fear…We fear”!

The peak was just ahead! "Get ready boys" I shouted. The winds were starting to really pick up and I could see the snow starting to fall again! "Let's make this quick" I said to myself.

The chopper came to rest on the peak. All the time I feathered the controls. It was a fine line between actually landing this thing, and hovering. "Go..Go..Go.." I screamed to the guys in the rear!

I looked behind me to see if the guys were gone. All I could see were a few "power bar" wrappers blowing about the cabin. All of a sudden.......it was here! The snow squall was ontop of me. I gave her full throttle and the Gazelle lurched upwards!

The chopper shook violently as I flew her into the storm. My visibility was not good and the winds were bouncing me all over the place! I cleared the peak to see the guys racing down the mountain all the while wondering if this was all worth it!

"Of course it is", I said to myself, "This is Extreme Skiing..............Gazelle Style"! Wink

A big thank you to all the responses! I appreciate it! Glad you seem to all like a little story along with the pics. I think it always "adds" to the shots. The Gazelle comes in 4 different color schemes. It is done in gmax and has a really nice VC! It takes a bit of getting used to!
